And The Winner Is…

The Oscars were handed out last night in L.A., and the South Korean thriller Parasite was the big winner, including becoming the first non-English language film to be awarded Best Picture. Director Bong Joon-Ho also won Best Director and Best Original Screenplay, along with Best International Film.

There were no surprises in the big 4 acting categories: Brad Pitt for Best Supporting Actor (Once Upon A Time In Hollywood), Laura Dern for Best Supporting Actress (Marriage Story), Joaquin Phoenix for Best Actor (Joker) and Renee Zellweger for Best Actress (Judy).

Toy Story 4 nabbed the Best Animated Feature prize, while Elton John and Bernie Taupin won the Oscar for Best Original Song from Rocketman. Taika Waititi claimed the Best Adapted Screenplay honor for his Nazi satire JoJo Rabbit.
