A mommy blogger is going public with a little bit of a controversial issue these days: Constance Hall in Australia made a post last week that she openly swears around her kids.
Constance says that, although she swears frequently, her kids haven’t picked up the habit. She tells them that they are words only adults can use, and recommends that adults make sure that kids have friends who are positive influences.
Personally, I don’t have kids (that I’m aware of), so it’s hard for me to say; but, in my house as a kid, my parents hardly ever swore in front of me, except once or twice in the heat of the moment. Many people agree with Constance, but others say swearing in front of your kids is an absolute no-no if you want to set a good example. What do you think?
