Super Snow Moon Tonight

The moon will technically reach peak fullness this morning around 11:53 a.m our time (AST), all full moons are best looked at during dusk and dawn.  You’ll have to wait until moon rise, which will occur at 7:39 p.m.

The full moon will appear larger and more brilliant in the sky, producing what’s known as a Super Snow Moon.

Today’s Super Snow Moon will be the second of three projected super moons in 2019, with the third coming in March.
