One Love, One Community Bonfire

An incident of racism earlier this month at a beach in Harbourville has the valley community rallying around valley resident and volunteer firefighter Mouhanad Abu Marzouk. The local Muslim man was at the beach with friends and family when they were confronted and threatened by other a couple of men at the beach. After Mouhanad posted the story on his Facebook page, he got hundreds of messages of support. And community members are showing their support tomorrow night with a bonfire and and sing along.  A couple of Berwick residents have organized a community bonfire and live music on the beach, their hope? To spread some love and tolerance. It starts at 7pm at Harbourville Beach, Saturday July 27th.
